Mixed games are great fun and I could see myself playing these a lot as you get to play so many different games during the same session, plus you find some players are absolutely horrible at certain games, making them very profitable.
The Pudding household has been under siege from a nasty little stomach bug that knocks the stuffing out of you. The past 24 hours have not been fun at all but hopefully we're all out of the woods now.
It all started in the early hours of Sunday morning when we were awoken by Step-Pud crying in his room. He'd been sick in his sleep and was scared as you can imagine so Mrs P spent the next few hours downstairs with him where he was sick over 15 times in a few hours. He managed to get to sleep and was right as rain when he woke up for the second time.
Mrs P and I were trying to work out what had caused it because he didn't eat much when he came home from his grandad's house and we put it down to him eating too much party food there as he had had a little celebration for his third birthday at his grandad's.
Then most of Sunday, Mrs P was complaining of a sharp pain in her belly that would come on in waves. Again in the early hours she found herself being violently sick so we knew we had a bug in the house. I usually have cast-iron guts when it comes to anything like this but alas I succumb to the germs and spent most of yesterday fighting off the nausea and having horrific pains in my stomach.
I woke up this morning, after spending most of yesterday cabbagged on the sofa, feeling like someone had kicked the living daylights out of me but three cups of tea and my first bit of food for 40 hours and I am starting to feel human again. Plan for the rest of the day is to drink a ton of water as my kidneys are really hurting at the minute and to stuff my fat face when I feel ok again!
Poker-wise I have been playing a few mixed games, mainly HORSE and 8-game. I've fallen out of love with poker over the past couple of weeks and withdrew my bankroll, leaving myself only $25 online, which I have now turned into $69.24. Mixed games are great fun and I could see myself playing these a lot as you get to play so many different games during the same session, plus you find some players are absolutely horrible at certain games, making them very profitable.
Another reason I've not played much poker recently is that I got the Pudding household a new HD ready TV. All I can say is that the Xbox 360 looks awesome through it and I've spent a large portion of my spare time going through Gears Of War on the hardest setting, and dying a lot. I might be 28 but I love video games!
Well I'll leave it there for now. Time to go look for some stories for the betting.betfair site. As always, thanks for reading and best of luck at the tables.
