Well everybody, here we are at a very sparsely populated Dublin arena. Just 215 runners at this year's event.
Plenty of criticism from players regarding both the buy-in and the location. For those unaware it is being held at the RDS, which is a venue used to stage exhibitions and rock concerts. Not known for it's poker, I think the pub over the road is seeing far more action than the poker tables!
So to the updates and I'll keep them short.
All of players began today and two levels in, we see them all playing ok, Alan & Carlo seem to be fairly aggressive though, so for how long we keep the five is another matter.
Stacks at end of level 2 (start 15k)
1. Annette Obrestad - 17.5k
2. Ben Grundy - 15k has had KK four times no less and not been paid once!
3. Arshad Hussain - 17.5k
4. Alan Vinson - 15k
5. Carlo Gabriele - 39k
