THE Hendon Mob. Ooer. Sounds serious.

Hendon, that area of north west London bordered by the badlands of Mill Hill (WAGs), Finchley (Maggie Thatcher ruled here with an iron fist, and more besides) and the Saturday afternoon Hell that is the Brent Cross shopping centre.

The Hendon Mobs' official website features a picture of four men in suits. They might be waiting for their loved ones and wives to finish shopping, modeling a new rage of hire suits or - get this - trying to look mean and moody.

The suits tell us: "Amongst poker's greatest ambassadors, The Mob have helped to raise awareness of poker as a sport."

And top of the list- the person called the most popular players - the one whose awareness is raised above all others is...WSOPE winner Annette Obrestad.
