Eric Buchman cannot shoot the Moon

A No-limit poker tournament can completely change over the course of a single hand and that is exactly what happened to Eric Buchman. One minute he was controlling the 2009 WSOP Main Event Final Table, the next he finds himself on the wrong side of the rail.

Down to the final four players, Darvin Moon completed his small blind before Buchman moved all-in, a bet that Moon called. Buchman would need some help as his KdTc was trailing Moon's Ac7s.

Help arrived in the form of a king on a Kh5c9s flop and the cavalry well and truly arrived when the Ks fell on the turn to lock up the hand for Buchman.

The very next hand Moon open-raised on the button to 3,000,000 and once again Buchman moved all-in, this time with Ad5c. Moon shrugged his shoulders and called with KdJd. Buchman satyed ahead on the 2c9hQc flop but once again he managed to suckout as the Kh landed on the turn.

No miracle Ace on the river for Buchman and he exits in fourth place with $2,502,890 to soften the blow.

After eliminating Buchman, Moon moves to around 76,000,000 in chips.
