Hear ye, hear ye. Tis The Battle of the Forums. Get Ready To Mumble.
News reached us of the online event to take place on Wednesday 17th Oct at 7:30pm.
The game is poker. And, as mandylou, explains: "each forum will be allowed to enter 1 team only, there will also be a ladies team and a team of Betfair pro's and staff."
A ladies team!? I could interject http://betting.betfair.com/poker/knaves-queens-2.html. But ladies first. After you, mandylou...
"The cost will be $40 plus $10 fee - all fees will be donated to a charity of the winning teams choice of 2/3 recognised Betfair charities". "Prize money split TBA but will be an amount for individuals and the rest to the winning team. There will also be bonuses for the winning teams provided by Betfair of $500, $250 and $100."
And to top the lot - "There will be bonuses for knocking out the Betfair pro team (the moderators) - this will be ability based for eg anyone knocking out reigning WSOPE champ Annette _15 will receive entry into the Betfair $50k guaranteed."
