Table-toppers Inter Milan travel to third-placed Roma for what is one of the most important matches of the Serie A season so far...

Inter Milan seem to be doing their very best to lose a Serie A title that one stage seemed an inevitability. Or at least the Betfair price of [1.05] (at which they were backed at not so long ago) suggested they pretty much just had to show up for their matches to wrap up yet another league championship. But football is a funny old game and more to the point, Champions League campaigns take their toll on the teams still involved in them. Inter were flying before European football's blue-riband event resumed yet have drawn twice and lost once in between those two matches that saw them progress at Chelsea's cost.

Luckily for Inter, their next Champions League isn't next week but rather the week after meaning that resting any key players for a big European match won't be necessary when they travel to third-placed Roma. What will be necessary is that Jose Mourinho's side don't lose this one as both Roma and AC Milan are biting at their heels and are desperate to ensure that the "Special One" doesn't end what is likely to be his last season at Inter Milan with yet another domestic title.
