The Joker's often accused of being blithe, and he's rarely Spartan. For Blyth Spartans' home game with Salford City today, he might blithely suggest that Salford City is only the name Manchester United should have taken. And, although the prices are a bit steep, like a drunk in an after-hours bar, he's not Spartan enough to resist a punt on the home side right now (their price should go out during the course of the day).

Blyth have won their last three at Croft Park, and should be too strong for Salford City, who are a league below them and have lost four of their last five on the road.
