Athletic Bilbao failed to hang on to a couple of leads last night, and the Joker's Christmas spending plans got a little more Dickensian. He doesn't have to play Scrooge just yet, but if hard times continue, it will be a pretty bleak house come December 25.

He's heard Man City are quite rich these days. Perhaps they have a present for the little Jokers from this evening's trip to Abu Dhabi. The Citizens are not at full strength for their friendly with the UAE national team, but their hosts have lost four of their last five home games.
