Bayern's exciting wingers Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben can be in the thick of the action on Saturday
Recommended Bets :
Back the over 2.5 goals in Dortmund v Bayern Munich @ 1.8; Back the under 3.5 goals in Hamburg v Stuttgart @ 1.6; Lay Nurnberg against Monchengladbach @ 2.18; Back Schalke to beat Koln @ 2.3
Razhan Miran believes that Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben can form part of an explosive attacking line-up at Bayern Munich, and he expects the duo to be involved in a few goals at least this weekend.
Dortmund v Bayern Munich
Dortmund have a tough task on Saturday as they face a Bayern side likely to field both Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben in a potentially devastating attacking line-up. Both came off the bench two weeks ago as Bayern trounced champions Wolfsburg three-nil at the Allianz, with the Dutchman netting twice.
Both have got off to disappointing starts, although neither would be too unhappy with a draw in this one. Dortmund were held to a draw last week at Frankfurt and are yet to build on their opening day victory. Europe is the clear target for the former Champions League winners, although whether they have the players for it remains to be seen.
Bayern fans expect more fireworks at the Westfalen and in all honesty so do I. Take the over 2.5 goals at [1.8] which looks good value.
Hamburg v Stuttgart
With three wins in the first four Hamburg lead the Bundesliga for now, as they did twelve months ago under Martin Jol. They have employed a similar gung ho approach under Bruno Labaddia, scoring twelve and conceding five in only four games.
They suffered a big blow on Wednesday however, with star striker Paolo Guerrero likely to be out for nine months after tearing cruciate knee ligaments whilst on international duty with Peru. New signing Marcus Berg will now have to step up alongside Mladen Petric, although the Swedish under-21 star is largely untested at top flight level.
Stuttgart were poor last week and seem to be missing the plethora of goals that Mario Gomez once graced them with. They drew nil-nil at home to Nurnberg which was a score line practically unheard of in previous years, although one that Markus Babbel will not mind come Saturday.
With obvious attacking problems at both ends, the under 3.5 goals seems to be overpriced at [1.6], which I highly recommend. Although not great value, the [1.45] available on the Hamburg Draw No Bet could also be a good investment.
Other bets
Monchengladbach have been the surprise package so far this year. They currently sit in fifth and as of yet do not seem to have missed star players Marko Marin and Alexander Baumjohann who left for Werder and Bayern respectively in the summer. They are away to a struggling Nurnberg this week who despite last week's positive performance look well underpriced for the win. Lay Nurnberg at [2.18] in the match odds in this one.
Koln have got off to a very poor start and currently sit at the foot of the table. They host Felix Magath's Schalke this weekend, who fell to an embarrassing defeat at home to Freiburg a fortnight ago. They will want to get straight back into the mix at the top of the table, and the way Koln are playing look good value to do so at [2.3].
