Bettorlogic look at how the absences of Daniele De Rossi for Roma and the likes of Marvin Matip and Nikos Liberopoulos elsewhere can help you with your betting this weekend.
AC Milan v Roma
Roma's World Cup-winning midfielder Daniele De Rossi is out of their trip to Milan through suspension and his absence is set to highlight Roma's defensive frailties once again. Roma have lost half their 18 away matches this season and have won only one of their last 10 away matches without De Rossi. AC Milan will be keen to give Paolo Maldini a fitting send-off in his final match at the San Siro and will expect to take the three points that should secure second place ahead of the final round of matches. Milan can currently be backed at [1.85] and look good value to secure the win.
Koln v Bochum
Koln host Bochum this weekend and will be without their young defender Marvin Matip. Matip began his career at Bochum before moving to Koln in 2005 and has represented Germany at Under 21 level. This season Matip has missed 17 of Koln's 33 matches and without him the team has really struggled, including a run of nine consecutive defeats when he's missing. Bochum can currently be backed to extend this at [3.7].
Frankfurt v Hamburg
Nikos Liberopoulos has played his final match for Frankfurt as he is suspended for their game against Hamburg and is due to sign for Cypriot club AC Omonia. Frankfurt have failed to win any of the 10 matches the experienced Greek international has missed this season, managing to score just eight goals. With Hamburg still pushing for a European place they look likely to get the result they need and are [1.71] to win.
Le Mans v Grenoble
Grenoble travel to Le Mans on Saturday and will be without Sandy Paillot who is injured. The young defender has been on loan from Lyon and has been a regular feature in the Grenoble backline. Grenoble have failed to win any of their last nine matches without Paillot home and away, scoring just once in this time. Although primarily a defender, Paillot has scored four times in his 17 starts, making him Grenoble's second highest scorer and in the last nine he's played, the team has failed to find the net only once. All of Grenoble's four defeats in their nine-match winless streak without Paillot have been L/L results and Le Mans can currently be backed at 2.74 to record a W/W double.
