The African Cup Of Nations takes place every two years during late January. The 2012 edition is being jointly hosted by Gabon and Equitorial Guinea. Winners of the last three editions - Egypt - won’t be there after failing to qualify and the same goes for Cameroon and Nigeria. But don’t let that put you off because there will be plenty of stars on show including the Toure brothers and Didier Drogba for favourites Ivory Coast, Ghana’s Asamoah Gyan and this season’s Premier League sensation Demba Ba of Newcastle, representing Senegal.
