Timeform take a close look at the recent fortunes and future prospects of three trainers...

Luca Cumani has teamed up with Kieran Fallon to great effect since the former champion returned to the saddle. The pair have had four winners from 17 runners in the past fortnight, including a treble at Folkestone and look set for further success during the remainder of the season. The most high profile victory came when Fantasia returned to form in a listed race at the Doncaster St. Leger meeting last week. Cumani has also had two other winners within the last fourteen days and is operating at a strike rate of 21% during that period.

Jeremy Noseda endured a slow start to the current turf season but has managed to put that well behind him and is now in imperious form. During the last couple of weeks the Newmarket trainer has had eight winners from 23 runners (35%) and it could have been much better had Fleeting Spirit not been narrowly denied in the Group 1 Haydock Sprint Cup. Notable winners during this scorching spell include Stirke The Deal, Awinnersgame and Stoic. Arguably the most impressive victor, however, has been Leahurst who won a handicap at Wolverhampton in most taking style and looks set to go on to make his mark at a much higher level.

Stuart Williams continues to be a thorn in the backside of many a bookmaker and he has had four winners from his last 18 runners. Captain Flasheart has provided two of those victories and on the first occasion landed a sizeable gamble at Kempton. Williams's horses need closely monitoring in the market during this purple patch.
