Timeform take a close look at three horses which it might pay to follow...

Forgotten Voice made a big impression when winning a handicap at Kempton on Saturday off an 18 month absence. Very well-backed throughout the day, he found himself with nowhere to go over two-furlongs out and still had work to do inside the final furlong; Jockey Shane Kelly was still exuding confidence, however, and simply nudged the colt home to get up in the final stride. He is obviously useful at the very least and with the transition to turf presumably no problem, he will surely prove a good deal better than a handicapper. J. Noseda

Later on Kempton's card, Laudatory made a successful seasonal reappearance in what looked a hot race. He travelled very well under a typically confident Jamie Spencer ride and found plenty when asked, to win a shade comfortably having been slightly short of room two-furlongs out. This was just his third run and he remains open to improvement, he should continue to progress on the turf although it's questionable whether he'll appreciate further than seven-furlongs, the distance all three of his runs have been at. Saga De Tercey only won a weak maiden by the smallest of margins but there is certainly more improvement to come from him. This was just his second ever run, having won a bumper on his previous start and he was clearly still green, getting up only on the nod. It's likely that his handicap mark will prove lenient given his potential ability, and it should definitely pay to follow him. G. A. Swinbank
