Hunterview is a strong gelding who looked promising on his first two outings. He is much better than the result suggests on his final 2008 start and it's likely there is more to come this season.

Statute Book was not knocked about in three starts as a two-year-old and is thriving now tackling handicaps, completing a hat-trick in game style at Kempton last time. There is more to come and a 4-lb rise is not excessive.

Becausewecan got his act together at the back-end of 2008, following a maiden win at Ayr with a handicap success at Great Leighs. He is 4-lb higher this time and probably needs to improve for the new surface.

Digger Derek produced improved efforts on his final two starts in 2008, rounding off the campaign with a success at Nottingham. He returns to action off a fair mark, and his stable are in decent form. He may do better still.

Tidal Force won a Newmarket maiden on his second start and, though well beaten on his nursery debut, he may still do better. He has a longer trip and a new surface to contend with this time.

Miss Christophene has won her last two starts here but a 7-lb rise for beating an exposed selling plater makes life tougher in this company.
