Turn Me On loves it round here but may be in the handicapper's grip for now. Conversely,
Summer Dancer is a step ahead of the assessor and is taken to complete a hat-trick. Bold Marc may give him most to do and the consistent Kabis Amigos is unlikely to be far away either, writes Timeform.

Turn Me On is a three-time winner at this track, including in May when following up his reappearance success at Thirsk. He struggled in a Class 3 here last time and others look better treated in this field.

Bold Marc is a reliable sort who has two course-and-distance wins on his CV. He ran a solid race off this mark when third at Carlisle (eight furlongs) last time and, while Nuit Sombre may not allow him an easy lead, he should go well.

Summer Dancer is a hold-up performer who ended a long losing sequence at Musselburgh and followed up in good style at Beverley four days later. He is still fairly treated despite a 6 lb penalty and a bold bid is anticipated.

Tina's Best had a decent campaign in 2008 despite picking up just one win. She is only 2 lbs higher for that win and has her conditions but is likely to need the run (absent since October) on her debut for a new yard.

Jonny Lester's Hair was twice successful in 2008, including on soft going but handles quicker ground. All three efforts this term have been respectable but others make more appeal.

Border Owl is a strong-traveller who won an eight furlong maiden at Windsor for Richard Hannon in 2008. He is fairly treated at present and posted a good effort on penultimate start at Thirsk but needs to bounce back from a tame run at York.

Woodsley House's first success since a hat-trick last summer came in a seven furlong handicap at Musselburgh in May. He followed that with a good effort at Ayr when third to Stellite and has place claims once more.

Nuit Sombre is a front runner whose last two wins have come over course and distance. He was a bit in-and-out during 2008, though, and is opposable here on the back of a 281-day absence.

Kabis Amigos has been vigorously campaigned but has held his form well, translating his good all-weather form to turf, scoring readily at Beverley last month and third at Musselburgh last time. He is respected.

Fitzolini hasn't shown much spark in three starts so far this term and a change of headgear is now tried.
