Exclusive Timeform insight on all the runners in the 3.50 at Wolverhampton.
Twelve runners go to post for this seven-furlong handicap and there's question marks hanging over many of them at present.
Gallantry and Will He Wish jointly head the ratings, the former has been in and out since winning off a mark of 80 at Warwick in June though shaped better than of late when sixth to Multakka at Kempton last time. That race worked out well, with the first two home both winning next time out, and he's come down another 2 lb in the weights. Will He Wish is 12-years-old now but has shown no signs of his age catching up with him and returns here from an eight-month absence presumably with a winter all-weather campaign on the cards. He's gone well in the past on the back of a break.
Front-runner Councellor is a consistent sort who returns from a four-month absence. He won off a mark of 86 last winter and looks sure to give his running if fully wound up.
Burning Incense makes just his second start on Polytrack and has been competing in much better races than this, his best effort this year coming when third to Valery Borzov in the mud at Haydock in June. He's capable of going close. The stable's other representative, Kiwi Bay, has a bit to prove now having been well below form on his last two starts, his free-going tendencies re-surfacing when tailed off at Newmarket last time.
Willkandoo has won four times this year and got back on the up at Dundalk last time, readily beating Monthly Medal by a length and three-quarters. He carries a 6lb penalty for that success which may not be enough to stop him if in the same mood.
Danehillsundance isn't the force he was when with Richard Hannon and has become unpredictable to boot, having every chance when just fifth to Isphahan at Ascot last time. He has dropped to a favourable-looking mark in the meantime though when he'll take advantage remains to be seen.
The Kiddykid's best days seem to be behind him, for it was just a useful effort when he won at Chester in August. Well below form there last time, others make more appeal for all he's fairly lightly-raced on the all-weather.
Prince Hamlet is lightly-raced but has been well below form on both his starts since winning at Musselburgh in June - a 9 lb rise in the weights for that success possibly his undoing. A two-month break may have sharpened him up, though he doesn't look the easiest of rides and connections have reached for the visor to replace the blinkers.
Wasp has done most of his racing on the other side of the world and showed fairly useful form when sixth to Plum Pudding on his belated reappearance at Newmarket, racing fairly freely early. He's entitled to have come on for that run and is worth a check in the market.
Lytton almost certainly has handicaps at this level in him but has made little impact this season - a harsh handicap mark beyond him. He'll be more of interest next year.

This looks a good opportunity for Vertigo On Course, a fast-finishing third at Southwell last week. Young Dottie's success last month is working out well and she also makes appeal, while each-way players could do worse than side with Toolentidhaar....
