Prince Siegfried's second in a French Group 1 last autumn was a good effort and he can make a winning start for Godolphin. Exceptional Art is progressing well and is respected, while Bonnie Charlie was a useful two-year-old and has to be respected on his reappearance.
Alkhafif is from a top family (half-brother to three Royal Ascot winners) and created a good impression when landing a Newmarket maiden last May. He has been off since though and has something to prove now.
Bonnie Charlie was a very useful juvenile, finishing in the frame in Pattern company on three occasions. He returns to action at a very realistic level and although this trip is an unknown he is worth a try at it and holds leading claims.
Bridge Of Gold quickened well under hands and heels and was still strong at the finish when making an impressive debut in a soft-ground maiden at Newbury. He bettered that in listed company last time and should have more to offer here.
Cloudy Start showed plenty of promise as a two-year-old, culminating in a comfortable maiden win on his final start. He was back to winning ways in a handicap at Epsom last time but more is needed here and his best efforts have come at seven furlongs.
Exceptional Art made a successful debut at Windsor last August before flopping in a French Group 1. He was gelded over the winter and looked back to his best when landing a Haydock handicap last time. He should stay this far.
Full Toss showed progressive form as a two-year-old and rounded off 2008 with a good second in a conditions event at Newbury. He has been gelded since and with this trip no problem, he has to be respected.
Prince Siegfried rounded off his two-year-old campaign with a close second in a French Group 1 event. He seemed well suited by the step up to this trip on that occasion and is a leading contender on this first run for his new stable.
Set The Trend was progressive in his first season of racing, following a couple of polytrack wins with an excellent second in a Haydock handicap last time. Plenty more needed here but he is still on the upgrade.

This looks a good opportunity for Vertigo On Course, a fast-finishing third at Southwell last week. Young Dottie's success last month is working out well and she also makes appeal, while each-way players could do worse than side with Toolentidhaar....

Despite being the senior citizen of the party, Mister Nous retains plenty of ability, and having won five times in France appears ready to open his British account. The Rainbow Hunter could be more deadly now switched to handicaps and looks a big threat to the selection, with Strategic Plan rated third best....

Jim Tango is open to improvement over fences, and this looks to be Miss Pross' easiest task for some time, but the likeable Bamby gets the nod with conditions to suit back over fences....

The two handicap debutants could be the ones to focus on here, with Ambrogina favoured more than Seamster. Knightfire will have to settle for a place again....
