A horse called Fabulous is sitting Prity in the Timeform ratings for this intriguing mile handicap at Great Leighs tomorrow but its run is going to have to be somewhat Tactful if it's to win. Confused? Don't worry, Timeform will explain it all.

Just six runners line up for this intriguing mile handicap. The ratings are headed by Priti Fabulous who has won both her starts on polytrack. The three-year-old, trained by William Haggas, has more than likely not finished improving yet and the 6 lb rise she received for justifying favouritism at Kempton last month could be made to look lenient.

She could see off the challenge of the unexposed Tactful, who made a successful debut over course and distance just over three weeks ago. Ralph Beckett's charge looks sure to build on that but could be seen to better effect over further.

Secret Night returned to form when mid-field in a competitive heat won by Ethaara at Kempton a month ago. The race has worked out fairly well though the suspicion is she's better over shorter, while her handicap mark looks on the high side.

Tender The Great is with her third different trainer this year and ran her best race for some time when third to Storm Sir over course and distance on her penultimate start. Out of her depth in a listed event at Ascot last time she could give a good account back in this company.

Oceana Blue comes into the race in good heart and her fourth to pattern-performer-in-the-making Mawatheeq at Ascot last time is as good a recent piece of form as any on show in this race. Thriving apprentice David Probert takes the mount and he has a near 1 in 4 strike rate when riding for his boss Andrew Balding this season.

Indian Diva completes the line-up and has a bit to prove now, having run poorly on both her starts since winning at Warwick in May.

This looks a good opportunity for Vertigo On Course, a fast-finishing third at Southwell last week. Young Dottie's success last month is working out well and she also makes appeal, while each-way players could do worse than side with Toolentidhaar....
