Awzaan looked a really smart prospect when winning over this trip at Newmarket in July and may prove too strong for likely market leader Radiohead and the unexposed Quarrel.

Radiohead has raced exclusively at five furlongs, winning a Group 2 at Royal Ascot. He ran an excellent third against older horses in the Nunthorpe last time and is a major player back amongst his own age group if proving as effective over six furlongs.

Angel's Pursuit gained a belated second win when seeing off useful opposition over this trip at Doncaster recently, but has twice come up short in Group company and a similar scenario is likely to unfold.

Awzaan maintained his unbeaten record and turned in a smart performance into the bargain when blitzing his rivals over this trip at Newmarket in July. He looks to have a bright future and is a major player.

Colonel Mak was twice successful in the summer, but failed to get to grips with Angel's Pursuit at Doncaster recently and this is altogether tougher.

Quarrel created a good impression when winning both his starts over six furlongs, making most at Chester last month. He is clearly a useful prospect, and you wouldn't rule out now while taking another step up the ladder.

Stargaze is a progressive colt who has been successful twice over five furlongs. He had no problem with this longer trip when third in the Group 2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood, but this is probably a tougher task still.

Wisecraic was a well backed and easy winner over five-and-three-quarter furlongs at Bath on his debut. He still displayed signs of inexperience when fourth in a valuable sales race at Fairyhouse last time and a lot more is required stepping up in class.
