Mata Keranjang would be dangerous if bouncing back to the level he ran to when second in a Group 2 over this course and distance in July, but the vote goes to Mon Cadeaux, who won with plenty in hand last time and looks a smart prospect. Timely Jazz may yet have more to offer after his confidence boosting win last time and could prove the best alternative.
"Mon Cadeaux made short work of a promising bunch when winning over six furlongs at Salisbury last month, still at full pelt crossing the line. He should be in his element over an extra furlong and is sure to make his presence felt."
Field of Dream is unbeaten in both starts at up to six furlongs in Italy, latterly a listed race at Rome in June. He is clearly an interesting contender for a new stable and the longer distance shouldn't be an inconvenience.
Atlantis Star was a wide-margin winner over six furlongs at Pontefract on his debut last month. He failed to build on that when runner-up to another useful prospect at Chester last time, but it is likely he is capable of better over seven furlongs.
Mata Keranjang produced his best effort when runner-up in the Group 2 Vintage Stakes over course and distance in August, grinding his way to the front before being caught. He was well below that level last time, though, and needs to bounce back.
Mon Cadeaux made short work of a promising bunch when winning over six furlongs at Salisbury last month, still at full pelt crossing the line. He should be in his element over an extra furlong and is sure to make his presence felt.
Practitioner was an easy winner at Salisbury on his debut. He has produced better form since tackling seven furlongs on his last two starts, finishing a good second in a listed race at Newbury last time, but he is likely to be playing for place money once more.
Sir Parky won for a third time when landing a seven-furlong conditions event at Newbury in July. He was outpaced back at six furlongs in a valuable sales race last time, but is vulnerable with a few progressive rivals in attendance now.
Timely Jazz's earlier runner-up efforts in seven-furlong Newmarket maidens look rock solid in the light of subsequent events and he landed the odds with the minimum of fuss last time, but probably needs to improve again.
Vale of York looked a bright prospect when a stylish winner over this trip at York in July. He failed to bridge the gap to Pattern company last time, though, and Dettori prefers Atlantis Star here.
Silver Grey has produced good efforts in nurseries up to seven furlongs since winning at Epsom in July, but this represents another step up the ladder and it would be surprising if she got seriously competitive.
