Suzi Spends is better on the all-weather, so it was very encouraging that she got so close to her best on turf last time and has first-rate claims of regaining the winning thread back on her favoured surface. Candy Ride and Suba could give her the most to do here, says Timeform.
Suzi Spends almost matched the pick of her all-weather form when a good fourth over a mile-and-a-quarter on turf last month (second and third won next time), and is a serious player back on polytrack if in the same mood.
Magic Echo is well treated on her runner-up effort under similar conditions at Doncaster in May. She shaped as if on her way back the last twice and is not without hope on her first polytrack attempt.
Fantasy Princess's only win came on polytrack and she was competitive off similar marks a year ago. She weakened tamely on her belated return at Goodwood in July and a tongue strap has been applied following another break.
Suba dead-heated at Nottingham in June. She put a below par effort behind her when a good fourth behind two subsequent winners over nine furlongs last time and has every chance if her stamina doesn't give way.
Hallingdal is a capable filly when on song and likes to come late off a strong pace. She has not been disgraced since winning off a lower mark last month, but it is possible she is in the grip of the handicapper at present.
Candy Ride has been progressing steadily in the summer, holding on in a driving finish when notching a second win off a 3 lb lower mark over nine furlongs at Sandown in July. She has to be respected with the possibility of more to come.
Golden Button got off the mark in a maiden over course and distance last month. She failed to build on that when unable to justify strong support in a handicap on turf last time and needs to up her game back on polytrack.
Bookiebasher Babe won twice on the all-weather at Southwell in the spring, but has only shown form sporadically on turf since and is much higher in the weights back on polytrack.
Becuille responded well to blinkers when winning over nine furlongs at Yarmouth in July, but the novelty of headgear quickly wore off when coming unstuck off a revised mark last time.
Lunar River has held her form well since scoring at Lingfield in May and generally travels well in her races, but it is difficult to summon up enthusiasm for her chances following a tame effort here last time.
Expressive is a fair maiden who has been placed all her starts at up to just over eight-and-a-half furlongs on polytrack, running her best race here last time, but she has been allotted a stiff mark on her handicap bow and needs to pull out more over this longer trip.
Royal Superlative bettered her maiden winning effort when runner-up in a mile Chepstow handicap in July. She produced a respectable effort at Epsom last time and has place prospects if taking to this surface.
