Timeform run the rule over the field for the Greggs of Scotland Long Service Nursery handicap.
Mister Hughie took a step forward when landing a Newmarket nursery with a good deal of authority last time and can take a 9 lb rise in his stride here. Ignatieff should make a good fist of it from the front while Six Diamonds, Mister Hughie's immediate victim at Newmarket, is the pick of the remainder.
Here Now And Why was an easy winner of a minor event at Thirsk in May and has been highly tried since, albeit finishing a creditable fifth in the Super Sprint at Newbury on his penultimate start. He looks vulnerable under top weight.
Ignatieff is a speedy gelding who was starting to look exposed before landing a maiden at Thirsk. He followed up in a course and distance nursery last time and should get involved despite a 6 lb rise.
Six Diamonds was an easy winner off a 9 lb lower mark on the all-weather at Lingfield and was a good third at that track next time. However, she was beaten two lengths by Mister Hughie at Newmarket last month and is no better at the weights.
Mister Hughie had to work hard to land a Bath seller on his penultimate start but produced a better effort when overcoming a slow start to beat Six Diamonds (same terms) at Newmarket last time. He is up 9 lb, but is the one to beat.
Camacho Flyer responded well to the application of a visor when belying odds of 33-1 to get off the mark in a Catterick maiden last time. However, this is much tougher.
Micky's Knock Off showed his first sign of ability when runner-up in a seller at Yarmouth last month and was not disgraced when fifth of twelve to Durham Express in a Redcar maiden next time. Much more is needed here, though.
Goodbye Earl is a thoroughly exposed maiden and while she has some sound pieces of form to her name, she has often looked reluctant. It is best to look elsewhere.
Kristen Jane has shown little in three starts thus far and is impossible to fancy from 12 lb out of the handicap.
