"Calculaite is an unreliable hurdler, though he did win at Sedgefield in June. He ran twice over fences a couple of years ago, showing promise on the first occasion. He can't be ruled out in an ordinary contest."
This is not a strong handicap and the consistent High Bird Humphrey is perhaps the most solid option. Cybora needs further than this 2m ideally but should still be capable of a bold showing here. Calculaite isn't the most reliable but his yard has been enjoying a reasonable spell of late and it wouldn't be a surprise to see him go well back over fences.
Mill House Girl is a front runner who was fairly useful over hurdles at her best. She made an impressive winning chasing debut in June but has largely gone the wrong way since, changing stables prior to her latest start.
High Bird Humphrey is a consistent sort who has run well over hurdles on his last two starts and is one to consider back over fences for the first time since finishing third at Carlisle in October.
Little Bob is an unreliable handicap hurdler, but was very much on a 'going day' when bolting in at Aintree in May. The ground is no concern on his chase bow, but it's still easy to have reservations given his overall profile.
Calculaite is an unreliable hurdler, though he did win at Sedgefield in June. He ran twice over fences a couple of years ago, showing promise on the first occasion. He can't be ruled out in an ordinary contest.
Adare Prince was a fair chaser on his day for Philip Hobbs but his new trainer is yet to send out a winner and there was no promise from this one back over hurdles on his reappearance.
Motive has raced mainly around two miles and won a handicap hurdle at Wetherby in May 2008. He has been rather hit and miss since, but at least makes his chase bow with his yard in good form.
Cybora is fairly treated on her best form and should come on for her third at Haydock on her reappearance. She is probably ideally suited by further than this trip but is certainly not out of a weak-looking race.
Fred Bojangals ended a lengthy losing run at Sedgefield in August. He has largely remained in form since but it'll be weak race he wins from his current mark.
Bright Sparky stepped up on all previous form over fences when scoring from miles out the weights at Bangor last month. His jumping has often been a problem and let him down when well held at Hexham next time.

This looks a good opportunity for Vertigo On Course, a fast-finishing third at Southwell last week. Young Dottie's success last month is working out well and she also makes appeal, while each-way players could do worse than side with Toolentidhaar....
