Minotaurious is a fairly useful maiden who was runner-up twice in fillies' maidens as a two year-old. Although placed both starts this year, she has yet show the same form she showed as a juvenile. She finished runner-up on the 2nd January, but raced too freely on her first outing in three months and her exertions told as she was unable to respond when the winner swept by. She was next dropped to five furlongs at Great Leighs, but once again failed to match her two year old form, never able to get to the front and losing ground at the finish. Her form isn't entirely convincing and she needs to learn to settle.

Ruby Tallulah put in a best effort when one and a quarter lengths fourth to dead-heaters Desert Strike and Lady Vivien in a handicap at Great Leighs last time. She wasn't quite back to the pick of her previous form, but ran her best race so far for new connections, keeping on from off the pace. She is a now a 1 lb lower than when registering her sole success, at Lingfield in August.

Green Onions didn't need to improve when winning a weak seven runner maiden at Great Leighs on 11th January. He again pulled hard in front and beat a largely weak field, although the second has come out and won since. He faced a stiff task on his handicap debut at Kempton ten days later, where he could finish only seventh having taken a good hold.

Trick Or Two put in a much improved performance when winning a seller at Southwell in December. He left Sylvester Kirk following that run and finished a creditable fourth on both his next two outings ten days apart. Trick Or Two shaped as if still in form at Southwell on the latter occasion, but will need to improve to defy his BHA mark of 66 in this contest. He is bred to prove best at this trip.

Lady Vivien is a modest performer who recorded her best effort when dead-heating with Desert Strike at Wolverhampton last time. She had shown progressive form in three maidens and improved again in victory, though she was fortunate to share the result, having been well placed throughout.
