After bouncing back from a couple of below-par efforts when third here last time Brave Echo is expected to reverse the placings with the second (Head Down) on that occasion. All About You is feared most and can edge Broad Cairn out of the runner-up spot.

Brave Echo has taken time to get back on track after his maiden win, but was a good staying-on third to Cyflymder in a steadily-run handicap here last time He should have a major say unless the ground eases.

Kyllachy Star was disappointing on his penultimate start but has done little wrong otherwise. He stayed on well to edge out Quanah Parker at York last time but, while a 4 lb rise is fair, this looks tougher.

Broad Cairn was placed in maidens at Newbury ten months apart and made it third time lucky at Haydock last month. He is open to improvement and conditions are ideal, but the handicapper hasn't made things easy for him.

Portugese Caddy was successful on his first two starts at Windsor and Folkestone under contrasting conditions but was a bit disappointing on his final run of 2008 and has a stiff task on his reappearance here.

All About You beat the smart Desert Creek in a six-furlong maiden at Windsor on his final start of 2008 for Roger Charlton. He was possibly unsuited by the course at Epsom last time and remains open to improvement.

Perfect Citizen didn't do much wrong as a two-year-old but it's questionable whether he has fully trained on judged on both efforts so far this term. He was tried in cheekpieces last time, which are now combined with a tongue tie.

Greensward improved with each start last summer, rounding off his campaign with a third in a Doncaster nursery. He was not disgraced on his return at Lingfield but may find this stiff seven furlongs stretching his stamina.

Key Signature produced creditable efforts in five starts since beating Three Moons at Kempton in 2008, including when she was behind two others in this field here last time, but she is again likely to find a few too good at the weights.

Head Down was off the mark at the eleventh attempt when landing a Lingfield maiden in March. He had Brave Echo and Key Signature behind when second to Cyflymder over course and distance recently and has place claims again.

Maggie Lou won a five-furlong maiden at Haydock on her debut last year and was generally highly tried after. She often lets herself down by starting slowly though and, while her last two efforts have been fair, she may struggle here.
