Two of this week's trio look Ascot-bound...
J J The Jet Plane was an exciting entry at Windsor on Monday night and the South African raider didn't disappoint. Ryan Moore took the ride and after breaking well the pair never saw another rival, making all to win by four lengths. He certainly has plenty of pace and this victory took him to the head of the ante-post market for the Golden Jubilee. His trainer stated that this was very much a prep race for Royal Ascot and he can be expected to be even better on his next outing.

Rose Blossom had clearly been well thought of by her trainer, Richard Fahey, as she had an entry in the listed Hilary Needler Trophy at Beverley last week. She was balloted out of that contest and it was no surprise to see her go off 2/1 favourite for her debut at Hamilton on Friday. The filly was quickly away and it was clear for all to see that she was very talented. She showed blistering speed and comfortably beat her eight rivals, breaking the track record in the process. Her trainer stated that she was the best filly he had ever trained and the next stop looks sure to be the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot.

Mister Dee Bee completed a hat-trick at Leicester on Monday and proved he is very much a horse on the upgrade. He had previously won two weaker contests over a mile at Warwick and Ripon and was strangely outpaced on this step up in trip, however when he found his stride he stayed on really strongly to beat Pride Of Kings by a length-and-a-quarter. He shaped as though he would stay even further and this progressive gelding looks to be ahead of the handicapper at the moment. Connections were concerned about letting him take his chance on fast ground so he may prove even better with cut in the ground.
