There were few ripples in the Arkle Chase market despite Paul Nicholls training the first two home in the Pendil Chase at Kempton on Saturday.
Natal won the recognised trial for the two-mile novice chase, while stablemate Good Spirit finished in the runners up position on only his third ever chase outing.
Nicholls indicated after the race that his main representative would be Good Spirit.
"I hadn't wanted to run them against each other but when Sandown was off yesterday, Good Spirit had to come here because I needed to get him some experience before Cheltenham," said the Champion trainer.
"Natal stayed the two and a half better, he wants three miles really and if he goes to Cheltenham he'll run in the Jewson, although I think he is better on a flat track - the Future Champions at Ayr would be ideal at the end of the season.
"The other one will definitely go for the Arkle now, as two miles would suit him better."
After trading in the low 20s post race, the price of Good Spirit is currently 28 for the Grade One event on the opening day of the Cheltenham Festival on March 13.
The market is headed by Fair Along on 4.1 ahead of My Way De Solzen on 8 and Don't Push It at 8.8.
