14:10 Huntingdon - LAY - Highland Chief (Forecast 1.9)

Today's race is the 14:10 at Huntingdon, it's a class 4 handicap chase over 2 miles and 4 furlongs. HIghland Chief is forecast favourite trained by Alan King and ridden by Robert Thornton.

But Highland Chief, who finally lost his maiden tag last time with a win at Plumpton, goes up in grade to class 4 and carries a 7lb penalty. This should be more than enough to stop this useless rogue from winning again.

The horse despises Huntingdon and was unplaced on both previous visits here. He was off track for seven months before his recent win and having been given just nine days to recover, this race is likely to come to soon and he may run flat.

All seven rivals hold claims and I will be laying the atrocious Highland Chief.
