Today's race is the 13:25 at Punchestown, it's a maiden hurdle over 2 miles Ah Ya Boy Ya is forecast favourite trained by C Roche and ridden by AP Crowe.

But Ah Ya Boy Ya is a cretin of the highest order. A beaten favourite three times he has always been placed but never won.

He has run to a similar level of form in all three bumper runs and on his hurdles debut and hasn't shown signs of improving. Running over 2m 2f last time he looked as if he needed a step up in trip so the decision to run him over 2 mile today is surely destined to end in failure as the hound lacks any pace.

Trainer C Roche has had 12 runners in October and all 12 have been beaten.

Curragh Mountain will find this much easier than the handicap he was third in over course and distance last time and looks the horse to beat, Tony McCoy and Darling Harbour are also likely to go well and I will be laying the talentless swine Ah Ya Boy Ya.
