Today's race is the 19:00 Wolverhampton, it's a class 7 classified stakes over 7 furlongs. Halfwaytoparadise is forecast favourite trained by W G M Turner and ridden by Tolley Dean.

But in a disgraceful race full of absolute cretins, Halfwaytoparadise is probably the biggest cretin of them all.

She won a weak claimer at Brighton last time where the race favoured the prominent runners. That was her first win on her 25th start. Her record on all-weather surfaces is even more shocking, from 7 runs she has never been placed and that includes banded races. On her only previous course run she was an embarrasing 8th of 12.

On the two occasions Tolley Dean has ridden the rogue she has finished unplaced.

It's an open race and I will be laying the low grade scoundrel Halfwaytoparadise.

    I totally agree with the brig on this one, this would be my banker lay of the day....except, the RP forecast is 4.0 and the horse will probably go off closer to 6.0. I'm not keen on laying higher than 3.5 so will sit this one out. gd luck all.
