Paul sends two runners to Wincanton on Sunday
"I have to be hopeful of him completing a hat-trick, though it is a competitive little race."
Paul has two runners at Wincanton on Sunday, including one who is chasing a hat-trick.

Themilanhorse
Decent bumper horse who put a disappointing hurdling debut behind him with a length defeat of Tour D'Argent over 2m5f at Warwick in December, and the runner-up has won both his starts since. We followed up ourselves with a 1 ½ length win off a mark in a 2m5f Ludlow handicap. Has gone up 5lb in the weights, which was fair enough, and this improving horse will like the ground. I have to be hopeful of him completing a hat-trick, though it is a competitive little race.

Polisky
I thought Polisky would develop into a smart novice this season and he looked set for a successful campaign when a very promising five length third to Fingal Bay over 2m5f at Cheltenham in November. But he then ran appallingly on bad ground at Newbury and then was never going at Cheltenham last time, either. I don't know why - and that has to be a concern for those backing him at a very short price today - but he had a breathing operation in the summer and perhaps that is bothering him again. So we run him in a tongue strap. He really should be winning this if running anywhere near the form of his Fingal Bay effort.
