Will Paul be celebrating winners at Chepstow?
"The 18:05 is clearly a very competitive bumper but TheMilanhorse has to be of interest here."
Five horses for Paul at Chepstow but who does he fancy?
14:15, Chepstow
Twist Pistol: Didn't show much in three bumpers but came good on his hurdling debut at Pau in January, when winning a 2m2f contest by 2 1/2 lengths. Makes his debut here for me in what is a hot contest for the money on offer - there are eight other winners in this 14-runner event - so this is a competitive starting point. But although he is very much next year's horse and a chaser in the making, he is a lovely individual who I like; he jumps great and goes very nicely. And although it was only a gentle piece of work, he went smoothly in behind Mon Parrain this morning. We like what we see but, as ever with our French imports, this run will tell us plenty.

Rangitoto: Point-to-point winner who made a very promising hurdling debut when second to Doctor Foxtrot at Ffos Las, and the winner has since gone on to run two good races in handicap company, notably when second at Doncaster last time. Was a bit disappointing though when only finishing third when starting at even money over 3m1f at Newbury last time. The step back down in trip will suit and he has a leading chance on form, but a word of warning - I suspect he may have issues with his breathing and he will have a wind operation in the summer.

R De Rien Sivola & That'lldoboy: Don't pay too much attention to the jockeys bookings here. I didn't want Ruby sweating to do 10st 3lb with Aintree around the corner, so he rides R De Rien Sivola. She came back a bit sore after falling over fences at Hereford in January, so I think she will improve for the run and need this to sharpen her up for a return to chasing. But she is fairly handicapped over hurdles - she is 6lb lower than over fences - and she did have some fair form over hurdles in 2008. But I prefer the chances of That'lldoboy. He finished a good third to Bermuda Boy at Exeter on New Year's Day and I thought he ran a very nice race for an inexperienced jockey when fourth at Taunton last time. James takes off a very handy 10lb here and I think he has a big chance off his light weight, particularly as there may be improvement to come, too.

Themilanhorse: This is clearly a very competitive bumper but TheMilanhorse has to be of interest here, particularly as he doesn't get a penalty for winning a boys' bumper at Newton Abbot last month for James (a Betfair Racing Excellence Conditional Jockeys' Training Series race, no less!) , and James takes the ride again today claiming his 10lb. The race he won last time probably didn't take a lot of winning but he won it well, and on form he has a leading claim.

What has happened to Pauls info, they are not just losing they are nowhere near. Is the standard of the horses in the yard falling dramatically after a golden time?
