Could Celestial Halo go from Cheltenham glory to a Royal Ascot win?

In another exclusive Paul Nicholls reveals he has big plans for former star hurdler and it involved the biggest Flat racing meeting in the world

I revealed in this column a fortnight ago that I recently took out a dual purpose license.

And I can tell you what will probably be my first runner on the Flat.

If all goes to plan, it may be Celestial Halo, runner-up in the 2009 Champion Hurdle, in the Queen Alexandra Stakes at Royal Ascot.

So, I will be switching the flat cap for the Top Hat that day!

Back to jumping, I aim to run both Robinson Collonges and Rebel Du Maquis in the Grade 1 Scilly Isles Novices' Chase at Sandown on Saturday.

celestial was a classy enough flat horse so makes sense to me to run it in that race as he seems to stay further now ideal good luck to u paul i like trainers who are not affraid to try new things think a few of your younger hurdlers could end up being pretty good on the flat also anyway good luck
