As trading topped the £1.5 million mark in the Champion Hurdle, three Irish-trained hurdlers were announced as non starters in Tuesday's feature.
Macs Joy, Harchibald and Al Eile are all notable absentees as the start of the Festival draws closer.
Macs Joy had been the most heavily traded of the trio with trainer Jessica Harrington reporting all was not well with her eight-year-old.
"He didn't work this morning and he's a non-runner in the Champion Hurdle," she said.
"He's pulled a muscle. It's the opposite side to what he had before. He is perfectly sound, but not right."
Detroit City remains at the head of the market at 3.2 with Brave Inca (5.2) and Hardy Eustace (5.3) vying for second favouritism. Straw Bear on 8.8 is the only other runner trading in single figures for the Grade One contest.
