Idle Talk, who is trading at 32 in the Betfair ante-post market for the Aintree marathon, becomes one of eight Hemmings-owned entries in the race, the principal one being the 2005 winner, Hedgehunter.

The eight-year-old Idle Talk, who finished second in last season's SunAlliance Chase has joined the stables of Donald McCain, son of the Aintree legend, Ginger.

McCain Jnr has saddled 31 winners in his first full season since taking over from his father and could hardly be in better form having sent out seven winners in the past week.

Irish challenger, Dun Doire, who heads the Aintree market on 13.5, skipped his proposed engagement at Fairyhouse on Saturday but will complete his Aintree preparations at either Thurles or Down Royal next month.
