We followed up Saturday's good winner with a rather more fortuitous winner on Sunday SARDE who was backed off the boards and was 7.6 when selected in the morning. All our bets are settled on the Betfair Starting Price which was a much skinnier 3.35.
All in all though we closed the books 19.65 points up on the first week of the new XY Factor service and start again on zero on Monday.
ONCE A GULCH gets our vote in the 3.10 at Pontefract on Monday. He comes from the Jeremy Noseda stable that are showing clear signals of a return to form. The stable have a good record here and Once A Gulch is potentially on a lenient handicap mark on his turf debut.
