TUESDAY'S RETURN: LEVEL
RUNNING TOTAL: -4.40 POINTS
Today's Race: WOLVERHAMPTON 8.50
Recommended Bet
Lay MOMENT OF CLARITY to win 3 points
2 points win ALONSO DE GUZMAN
Half right / half wrong yesterday. The place lay Yungaburra finished out of the frame but Stolt, our win and place bet, could do no better than fifth of the ten runners to make us all square on the day. We head to Wolverhampton for the 8.50 race and the graph makes the bet quite easy - the favourite Moment Of Clarity looks too short and the second favourite Alonso De Guzman too big so we'll lay and back respectively. Moment Of Clarity is admirably consistent over course and distance and goes well for seven pound claimer Krish Gundowry but faces a tougher task at the weights today in a tougher race, despite the small field. Alonso De Guzman hails from a bang in form stable and steps back in distance from what looked an unsuitable 12 furlongs last time out.
