Stormy Beech ran well enough on Tuesday but unfortunately one place out of the money in terms of the bet. The Green Hat doesn't immediately inspire confidence with two recent pulled up efforts next to his name but they are probably best disregarded in terms of today's race as he is stepping back considerably in distance and that is expected to bring about an improvement. Trainer Richard Ford is in good form at present too. The same comments can pretty much be applied to Nasrha who is also stepping back in distance - the mare is still lightly raced in the context of this race and can hopefully improve to take a place here.
