WEDNESDAY'S RETURN: +3.12 points
RUNNING TOTAL: -11.34 points
Today's Race: Lingfield 4.10
Recommended Bet
Place Lay COPPER BAY to win 3 points
3 point win LYSANDER
2 point win and 2 point place SILVER INNGOT
A small profit yesterday from the place lay Whistle Blowing and Stoneriggs Merc holding on for a place. Lingfield stage a National Hunt card on Thursday and there a few bets for us in the 4.10 race. We're focussed at the top of the weights and the one we are taking on is Copper Bay who has 11-12 to lump around. Alan King's runner is relatively lightly raced but his latest run at Taunton when fifth doesn't really inspire a great deal of confidence. Lysander, on the other hand, comes to the race in the peak of his form and had plenty in hand when scoring at Leicester last time out. At bigger odds, Silver Inngot might be worth an interest. The better ground should help and he showed his liking for this course when winning easily here in November - over a two mile trip, half a mile shorter than today.
