A nice result yesterday with the success of Gull Wing (Betfair SP of 7.56). To Aintree today for the 4.55 race where there seems to be a little value on the back side of the graph. Lightning Strike looks far too big at the current odds of around [17.5]. The Venetia Williams trained five-year-old was sixth at Cheltenham and has something to find with Group Captain on that form but with Group Captain having blinkers on for the first time that form is not certain to be confirmed and Lightning Strike looks a fair bet for one of the three places. A more obvious selection is the favourite Franchoek who is trading at bigger odds than we forecast. the current [3.3] looks more than fair for the Triumph Hurdle runner-up.
