It's very much the calm before the Royal Ascot storm today - and hopefully we can bolster the betting bank with a profit in the selling handicap hurdle at Sedgefield. Goodnight Dick and Errol both finished runner-up on their latest starts here and both look over-priced at respective odds of 19.5 and 13. Goodnight Dick ran well enough here last time when runner-up to Monash Lad over a shorter trip on heavy ground - he does have form on a firmer surface but has a lengthy absence to overcome. Errol definitely does like the firmer ground and shaped well here last time.
