LayDough heads to Lingfield to look at the 4.40 on Monday.
SATURDAY'S RETURN: -3 points
RUNNING TOTAL: -133.57 points
Today's Race: Lingfield 4.40
Recommended Bet
LAY ORPEN's ART to win 3 points
PLACE LAY ORPEN's ART to win 6 points
3 point win BEN
BEN is a speculative back as he has been off the course since finishing well down the field at Redcar in October. However, he does have some reasonable placed form to his name on the all-weather to make the current [9.2] look quite tempting. I'm less keen on Orpens Art who although in good form at present - didn't appear to like this course on his only other start here.

I won't hear a bad word said about this section, I have been doing the opposite for the last 3 weeks, not only recovered earlier losses but am well ahead - keep up the great work!

It is always difficult when you have to put up selections for just one race a day especially when you are aiming to hit high priced horses. It will only take a small sequence of winners to turn things around.
What might make things easier as if you could persuade the powers that be to let you select a few races and the winning sequence will come sooner.
Anyway I am sure you are confident that things will turn around soon and I am watching with interest. Trust I know how hard it to put your views out there to be shot down.
Best of luck todaty.

Appreciate the feedback as always - good and bad. The result yesterday was pitiful, I agree and I can assure you it's not because I don't care. If you're making money from doing the opposite - good luck to you. Hopefully however the tide will turn soon.

Ben was a good horse to trade on. I backed him for a place at 3.5 and layed off in running at 1.4. No complaints here.
