It might prove folly to take on a Gary Moore trained runner given his sparkling form over the weekend but Adopted Hero looks a little skinny at the current [3.15]. Two non runners has seen this field reduce to just six. Adopted Hero frequently jumped to his left in his last race at Kempton over Christmas and I have an inkling that he is not enjoying them as much as the hurdles. Kervriou is a realistic alternative after being pipped by Climate Change last time out and he can improve further.

I agree Kerivriou may provide the value at 5.5 on betfair currently. I would not be laying Adopted Hero though on betfair with only 6 runners but laying 3 places. A good race for trading methinks though as the top 3 should be fairly volatile nearer race time.

Thanks for the feedback Brian. We'll never know with both - Kervriou being brought down early and Adopted Hero unseating when seemingly travelling well. Hope all horses are OK.

No worries. 1-0 to you on this race. As we all know it is profit in the book that counts. Overall a winning day for me so I am more than happy. Hopefully the slice of luck you had today will be the start of you turning the corner.

    Cheers

The corner is as big as the M25 at the moment but we have to start somewhere !
