Trainer Alan King has confirmed that My Way de Solzen will definitely take his chance in Tuesday's Irish Independent Arkle Trophy, in preference to a bid for the Ryanair Chase later in the week.
King believes that last year's World Hurdle hero will cope well with the drop back to two miles especially with the ground sure to be testing.
Speaking to the Racing Post, the trainer said: "I walked the ground this morning and in my opinion it's still soft and heavy in places so that's where he goes and we'll see what happens."
My Way de Solzen has only suffered one defeat over fences and that was at the hands of Fair Along, with whom he vies for favouritism in Betfair's ante-post market.
Fair Along is currently trading at 4.3 to back, whilst My Way de Solzen is a solidly supported 4.5. Don't Push It trades at 6 and it's 14.5 bar.
