Once again I ask why you don't give a few words of explanation for the US SmartPlays?
In the 1st at Tampa you made Street Mate your pick (on the Timeform Free site)saying it had a bit in hand, and yet you recommended it as a lay!
    WHY???

  2. Simon Rowlands | 03 February 2012

The honest answer to why Street Mate was recommended as a lay, when picked out as the horse with the best chance on the free site, is a breakdown in communication at our end.

You are right to query the situation and we have taken further steps to ensure that we do not send out what may appear to be contradictory advice in future. Please accept my apologies for the confusion.

Regarding the "few words of explanation" to accompany recommendations, this has certainly been considered (I am in favour) but there has been anything but a widespread call for this from our readers to date.

That is not to say the matter is settled, and I will make sure that your views are known if it is revisited.

    Regards
