Three decent Flat cards to dissect before moving on to Aintree's Grand National meeting and several angles suggest themselves.

I'm tempted to oppose Tajneed at short odds over seven round a bend in Catterick's 15:00 and backing Ursula win and place looks the value alternative given that she owns solid claims on her best handicap form and her stable seem in fine fettle.

Zuider Zee also has a little each way mileage in a strong and very open 15:40 at Nottingham. while Viking Warrior offers some back to lay potential in Catterick's 14:30 and the lightly raced Pintrada is one to watch closely with an eye to the future in the 15:30.

Last but not least, Almuftarris should be very hard to beat in Lingfield's 16:20.

Ed Dunlop's colt has only a head in hand of Yaa Salam on Yarmouth form from last autumn but travelled much better than that rival for most of the way and looks the sort to progress appreciably over middle distances this year.
