Snow has wreaked havoc with today's cards
"Caolaneoin and Simeon are obvious dangers but Trifolium has the form in the book and also relishes the heavy ground that is prevalent today."
Racing has been decimated today and only the interesting card at Punchestown remains on this cold Sunday. Terry Norman believes he might have found a winning bet...
If you are a Ruby Walsh fan you could be in clover. Racing's leading jockey has numerous chances but for the best bet I'm favouring his great rival Davy Russell on Trifolium (13:50 ) in the Grade 2 novice hurdle.
Charles Byrnes' gelding produced the best performance of his career when chasing home the classy So Young. Russell decided to change tactics that day, letting the odds-on favourite dominate rather than take him on.
He will probably have to adopt the same plan today with the free-running Rory O''Moore and Pink Coat in opposition. Caolaneoin, impressive winner of a maiden, and Simeon (put a disappointing debut Fairyhouse behind when scoring at Cork) are obvious dangers, but Trifolium has the form in the book and also relishes the heavy ground that is prevalent today.
