Paul Webber's gelding jumped well and battled home in a manner which suggests this longer trip will suit him admirably in a warm race at Plumpton, while Habbie Simpson caught the eye in an above average bumper at Southwell on his debut and looks set to go very close on his return visit in the finale at 4:40.
