Two bets from today's Timeform Radio pundit David Cleary, both at Ffos Las. Who is he going for and why?

Thoughts turn to the classics today, with trials aplenty at Leopardstown and the return of last year's top French-trained two-year-old Dabirsim at Longchamp.

Closer to home the action is all over jumps, with cards at Ffos Las and Market Rasen, with the handicap hurdle at 16.25 at Ffos Las the most interesting betting race. One or two of these could be well in if they revive, with Glenstal Abbey definitely worth keeping a watch on in the betting. But the unexposed Speed Master ought to take plenty of beating. He's off the same mark as when running well in a stronger handicap at Sandown last time, that just his fourth start over hurdles. Slightly less of a test of stamina is likely to suit him as well.

Thirty minutes later, at 16.55, Paradise Expected has plenty going for her in a weak handicap chase. She's gone up 7 lb for her win here last time but the runner-up has won since and she looks very much the pick of the weights. The conditions are less testing this afternoon but she's won over the trip and her best effort over hurdles came on good ground.
