Famous Name has a tremendous record at Leopardstown (nine wins and placed three times from 13 starts), but he is unlikely to be getting any better at the age of seven and faces a highly progressive rival in the shape of Sharestan. John Oxx's colt looked a potential Group-class performer when making a highly impressive reappearance in the Irish Lincolnshire (Handicap) at the Curragh last month and there should be plenty more to come from the son of Shamardal.

Eoin Doyle rarely leaves Tramore without a winner and his best chance of collecting today would appear to be Mazuri Cowboy in the maiden hurdle at 15:40. Mazuri Cowboy finished second on his first two starts over hurdles, displaying form good enough to win an average maiden when runner-up to Changing Times in a race that has worked out very well at Fairyhouse in January, and he clearly didn't do himself justice at Thurles last time. Conditions will suit and he is taken to account for the hitherto disappointing Sarabad.

Fever Pitch, a maiden hurdle winner at Tramore last season, looks very interesting stepped up to a trip that promises to suit in the conditional jockeys handicap chase at 17:15. He again shaped better than the result would suggest when a not-knocked-about sixth on his first try in a handicap chase at Navan last time, is well treated on his hurdles form and the booking of top conditional Pat Mangan would suggest that a big run is anticipated.
